Returns
of Damaged or defective items
In
the event that a CD, DVD, or Video-CD title purchased from ThaiCDExpress
is defective, ThaiCDExpress will exchange the disc for a copy of
the same title, providing that the title is still currently available.
In the event that the title is no longer available, this warranty
is void. The defective item must be returned within one month from
the date of purchase.
Items
Not Covered by Warranty
1.
Physical damage from shipping, handling, abuse, or operation on
defective, incompatible, or maladjusted equipment.
2. Any disc not in pristine condition. Discs or jackets that show
excessive wear beyond the normal handling required to detect a defect.
3. Any disc that does not clearly show a video or audio defect.
"Did not like" or "poor transfer quality" are
not acceptable defects. Items not accepted under the terms of this
warranty will be returned, freight collect, to the sender.
4. Product which the buyer is unable to play due to lack of compatible
equipment/s.
Lost
orders
If
you feel that your order may have been lost in transit, please email
us. We will trace your order and file for recovery or compensation
with the responsible shipping service or agency. All shipping is
done by registered post and the proof of shipping is retained by
us. Registration enables tracing and in the event of loss, some
compensation may be possible, unfortunately it does not prevent
loss. Also, registration is not insurance, and the full value of
the lost goods is unlikely to be recovered.
Delivery
Guarantee
Guaranteed delivery within one month of the date of shipping is
offered only when a shipping method which explicitly carries the
delivery guarantee is selected. All other shipping is at the customer's
risk. In the event of loss or excessive delay of guaranteed orders,
please email us. We will file for confirmation of lost order with
the post office, and once this is confirmed, the lost order will
be reshipped one time only, by registered post. Delivery of the
replacement order is NOT guaranteed (we guarantee to ship it, but
cannot guarantee that it will arrive). If you have two consecutive
orders go missing, there is probably something seriously wrong with
your local postal delivery or customs procedure, and you are advised
to contact your local mail service. No cash refund is given for
lost orders. Shipping guarantee applies only to lost orders, and
not to undeliverable orders.
Undeliverable or unclaimed shipments
If the order cannot be delivered due to incorrect or inadequate
delivery address, the order is normally sent back to us. We will
resend the order for no charge only if we have made a mistake in
addressing the package when transcribing the delivery address from
the data you entered online. If the order is undeliverable for any
other reason, the customer may have the order reshipped for the
normal shipping charges for that order, or the order can be exchanged
for store credit to the value of the goods excluding the shipping
cost. No cash refund is given.
Payment Methods
All
prices are in US dollars. We accept payment by Visa and MasterCard
credit cards using our secure order form, or by fax, telephone,
or snail mail. Please include your order along with your payment.
We don't receive money order.
Credit card safety, privacy policy
ThaiCDExpress
uses the latest technology to protect your credit card information
and does not release it to any outside organization. You can place
your orders using MSIE's or Netscape's SSL encryption (the Internet
standard for secure transactions) or you can telephone or fax card
information to us. Your credit card details are not ever transmitted
over the internet without secure encryption at any time.
Customers' information, including name, address, email address,
telephone number, credit card details submitted to ThaiCDExpress
are not under any circumstance given out or sold to any one other
than the relevant credit card processing bank. Customer's records
are not stored on the internet for any longer than is necessary.
Unused customer's records are destroyed by incineration.
Credit card verification
We
are required by our bank to obtain authorization on all credit cards
regardless of order amount.
Shipping options
Shipping
options vary depending on the type and quantity of merchandise you
choose to buy and your shipping address.
Place items into your Shopping Cart by clicking on "Add to
cart" , then click the "Checkout" links to view your
available shipping choices (you will need to be signed in to your
account). Your shipping costs will be displayed in your Shopping
Cart before you buy. You can choose which shipping methods you prefered.
FedEX & UPS is faster and trackable. For Air mail, it should
takes about 14-20 business days to your place.
Shipping policy
We
aim to ship within 24 hours of receiving your order. Items not in
stock can usually be obtained within 3 to 4 days. If your order
can only be partly fulfilled, we will email you to request instructions
whether we should wait for the full order or ship partial order.
However, we will never charge you for any item until it is available
and ready to ship.
Customs
duties and taxes
Import
duties and/or taxes may be imposed by your local government on shipments
from outside your country. These charges are separate from ThaiCDExpress
charges and are beyond our control or ability to predict. These
charges (if any) are payable to your government. You are responsible
for paying any taxes, duties and/or customs fees charged by your
government. Please check with your local post office for more information.
When shipping as "air letter", ThaiCDExpress is not required
by Thai laws to declare the nature and cost of the goods outside
the package. This is of no particular advantage however. US customs
will usually open the package for inspection, European customs often
do not inspect the package. Although for most countries customs
duties are payable, customs officials in the US and Europe often
overlook shipments from ThaiCDExpress.
